Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I get to see photos/videos of my child’s session?
We capture sweet moments during each workshop and share curated photos and videos with parents in a link afterwards. It’s a great way to witness their joy and growth.
Why doesnt B2R have a dedicated centre?
Back to Roots is not a place, its a way of learning, living and growing. B2R mission is to reconnect children with real world settings and not confine them into a building. We have witnessed real learning happens in open spaces and community environments.
Is the session supervised at all times?
Absolutely. Safety is our priority. All sessions are facilitated by trained adults who maintain a warm, watchful environment. We work with small groups to ensure every child is seen, heard, and cared for.
How are your sessions different from regular extracurricular classes?
We focus on experience, not instruction. Kids don’t just sit and practice, they craft, plant, move, laugh, and reflect. It’s unplugged, grounded in Indian culture, and full of creative freedom helping build emotional intelligence, observation skills, and joy.
Who are the facilitators, and what’s their background?
Our facilitators come from backgrounds in early education, folk art, gardening, and child psychology. More importantly, they love working with children and are passionate about keeping traditional knowledge alive through playful methods.
What if my child misses a session?
We understand life happens. While we do not offer refunds for missed sessions, we will try our best to accommodate your child in a future batch or make-up activity depending on availability.
Do you collaborate with schools or communities for private batches?
Yes! We love working with schools, apartments, and learning communities. If you are an educator or parent who wants to bring Back to Roots to your campus or group, just reach out — we’ll customize it for you, while alligning with our Phyilosophy.
Are these programs age-specific?
Yes. We thoughtfully group children by age to ensure the activities are developmentally engaging. Most workshops are designed for kids aged 4–8 years and 8–12 years, with age-appropriate challenges, learnings and experiences.
Do children need any prior knowledge or skill to join?
Not at all! Our programs are beginner friendly. All we ask is that kids come curious, and ready to explore. We make it joyful and meaningful.
